Vet Industrial was awarded the Design-Build contract for the design and construction of the Indoor Firing Range for the Special Operations Force at Fort Lewis, Washington. This 21,192 sf facility contains (14) firing lanes from 0 to 50 meters with bullet trap/collection and automatic targetry systems. Also located within this facility is a Range Control office, Training Classroom, Restrooms, Communication, Electrical, and Mechanical Rooms.
• Design and construct tilt-up concrete super-structure. Perform sitework and install new utilities
for sewer, water, storm, natural gas and electrical systems. Exterior walls are stained, exposed
concrete with decorative concrete block mechanical enclosures
• Original flat roof was value engineered to be a 3:12 pitched roof with shingles to
match surrounding facilities
• Range Ventilation System for indoor firing operations and HVAC and Plumbing and
Fire Sprinkler System for all administrative spaces
• Electrical Systems including: Lighting, Power, Fire Alarm, Mass Notification and coordination
with Targetry and Bullet Collection Systems
• Architectural finishes and accessories
• Final Grading, Security Fencing, and Landscaping
