Vet Industrial is currently performing as the Prime Contractor on the Design-Build, general construction project to design and construct site work, utilities and miscellaneous buildings for the Army Growth Complex. The scope of work includes:
• Designing and constructing a 30,000-gallon propane tank farm, two Lawn Mower Storage Buildings
(LSB’s) and associated site work utilities (electrical, gas, water, stormwater, sanitary sewer,
communications and lighting) up to the five-foot line necessary for the construction of a
109,800-SF barracks facility
• Designing and constructing supporting facilities including utilities, street and security lighting,
fencing and gates, parking lots, paving, sidewalks, curbs and gutters
• Preparing the site including clearing and grubbing, cut and fill, grading, establishing the finish
floor elevation and soil compaction
• Performing erosion-control measures to ensure positive drainage away from the building
• Performing and installing site landscaping and irrigation system to include retention of existing
plant materials, landscaping to screen equipment pads and drought-tolerant, insect-and
disease resistant plants (trees, shrubs, groundcovers, grasses, seed and sod) native to Western WA
• Providing site furniture and equipment for the Unaccompanied Enlisted Personnel Housing
(UEPH) to include bike racks, fencing, physical barriers and waste receptacles
• Demolishing, clearing and grubbing trees, vegetation and materials as well as locating and
removing any abandoned utilities found onsite that interfere with the site development
